About NZPOS
NZPOS is a New Zealand family business that has supplied and installed point-of-sale systems since the early 1990s. We look after the counter and what sits behind it — the hardware, the network it runs on, and the support to keep both working.
Our Story
We've been fitting out point-of-sale systems in New Zealand since the early 1990s — cafés, restaurants, bars and retail counters up and down the country. Three decades of that teaches you what actually holds up in a busy service, and what just looks good in a brochure.
We're based in Auckland. Some of what we sell we import ourselves; the rest comes from New Zealand suppliers we've dealt with for years. Either way it's here, not weeks away on a boat — so a replacement printer turns up when you need it. We handle the whole job: helping you choose the right setup, installing it, training your staff, and answering the phone afterwards.
We're also the only New Zealand supplier of the NZPOS Droid — a compact Android terminal customised for us, with POS software included. And as the business has grown we've taken on more of what sits behind the counter: the network, the computers, and the systems your POS depends on.
